Message Since the Stillen build some 7 years ago, I've driven the car less than 3000 miles total, and I already have two bad cylinders. I've never ran the car hard, so I don't understand why it happened. Maybe the way the pistons sat in the cylinder had something to do with it. Maybe it was the quality in how it was built... Who knows.

Internal builds tend to have problems down the line, primarily with the forged pistons, and the way they expand and contract. So by using a stock setup with cast pistons, I'm trying to achieve the reliability that I want, but free up the exhaust on all levels to gain as much power as possible. Going back to a forged setup is not a risk that I want to tackle again, especially with what little time I spend with this car... And with my previous experience with Stillen. This is why I want to play it safe, in the event that I sell it in the distant future.
